Jewish Education in the time of COVID
Sunday School for Jewish Studies has pivoted to an entirely remote learning platform for the 2020-2021 school year. The Shalom@Home program allows students to access live, engaging, fun, quality Jewish education from the safety and comfort of their homes. Tuition includes project supplies for each class that are picked up three times over the course of the year. Weekly classes are taught by skilled Jewish educators committed to delivering high-quality programming each week.
We recognize that all families have been negatively impacted by the ongoing pandemic. For some, the impacts may include financial hardship, and we have taken this into consideration when planning our tuition rates for this year. Additionally, our ability to hold in-person classes has been placed on hold due to the pandemic.
We have meticulously labored over our operating expenses, the options available for distance learning, and how to create a safe, engaging, and enjoyable experience. Under the current circumstances, we are offering a significantly reduced tuition rate for the 2020-2021 school year. For those families with more than one child, the tuition will be discounted by 25% for each additional child. Enrollment is rolling throughout the year, with tuition prorated for students beginning after the year has begun.
