Parent Board
The SSJS Executive Committee Board meets to set policy and report to the entire parent body. The Board includes officers, committee chairs and representatives from our school community. Working with the Education Director, the Board coordinates with parent volunteers in running school-wide events and celebrations.

Josh has been an active Board member since 2018, and has 2 children attending SSJS. His professional career is devoted to patient care, primarily in the pediatric setting. He also has experience in staff development, education, and safety promotion. Josh looks forward to getting to know our SSJS families, and welcomes parent participation in our activities and programming.

Vice President

Carla Milanowycz is our Vice President and proud mom of 2 SSJS students. She’s been an SSJS parent since 2015 and a board member since 2019. She has a passion for supporting Jewish education that’s dynamic, modern and engaging to kids. She also appreciates the diverse community of SSJS. She lives in the Boston area with her husband, 2 kids and dog.

Treasurer

Jason and his family have been involved at SSJS for nearly 5 years. He is a new board member, and is looking forward to sharing some of his financial skills in his new role as SSJS Treasurer. Prior to his present career in research and development in biotech, he worked in investment banking. 
Robert Kirschner

Robert Kirschner

Assistant Treasurer

Rob Kirschner has been an active member of the SSJS community since 2007. He has served on the parent Board of Directors since 2013, initially as the Treasurer and currently serves as the Assistant Treasurer. He has two graduates of the program and currently has a daughter in 6th grade. Professionally Rob runs a private equity commercial real estate investment management company.
Claudine Riley

Secretary

Claudine Riley has been a part of SSJS for over 3 years. Currently she is serving as Secretary for the board while her 9 and 7 year old children attend SSJS. She is so happy to be part of this community. Claudine lives in Newton and works as a psychotherapist.

Elana November

Elana November

Member at Large

Elana November lives in Newton with her husband and 5th/7th grade sons. Her family joined the SSJS community in 2014 and she joined the board as an at-large member in 2017. Elana is a psychologist in private practice working with children and families.
